We are still running our January sale in our shop in Fredensgade. This doesn't mean that we are not listing any new items at the moment. We have just purchased a fine collection of fine noise, avantgarde and impro-electronics-stuff. Artists include Charlemagne Palestine, Eliane Radigue, Hijokaidan, Chris Corsano, Aaron Dilloway - you get the picture, right?

Last but not least we will soon start listing an impressing 7" collection we have just bought. More than thousand records ranging from punk and  indie to a lot of synth-pop-classics. Really loads and loads of classics...

We have started a tradition, a happy new year from Black Light Records means January sale at our shop in Fredensgade. This means, that thousands of records and ALL cds on the first floor, are sold with 50% discount off the price, and this is all through January. This offer only counts if you show up in our shop in Fredensgade!! So we are looking forward ot seeing you grabbing  bargains in our shop soon!!!!

We have just bought a collection of approximately 500 indie/alternative 7", most of which has been released within the last 10 years. Loads of good stuff, so please check out our "JUST IN" section.

Soon we will start selling a collection of 200 indie/electronic records, loads of New order, Primal scream, Pearl jam, Red hot chili peppers, Alice in chains etc. And last but not least... A big happy new year to all of our customers!!!

Just back from at buying trip to Holland we are returning with more than 400 handpicked records. The bulk of it is indie and post-punk classics from the likes of Joy Division, Sonic Youth, Big Black, Pixies, Cramps, Current 93 and beyond. Furthermore we have also bought about 100 really cool 80´s 12"´s  - mostly electronic pop and superhits from artists like Kraftwerk, Japan, OMD, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran etc. All are currently arriving in our shop and already selling really well, so be quick if you found something of interest....

In a week or two we will start listing about 70 really cool indie and electronic lps from the recent years. Loads of rare and deleted items up for grabs here....

Since the last update we have spent time sorting a fine collection of mainly 80'ies pop/synth-pop records. Huge collections  with many interesting limited edition, colour vinyl and foreign pressings from artists like, New Order, Madonna, Pet Shop Boys, Joy Division etc...

Also just in is a good bunch of early techno/hardcore 12" with many classics and more or less all the early Warp 12"'s .

Within the next couple of weeks we will be listing a super collection of recent electronic and indie-rock. The collection contains many rare and already deleted limited editons and coloured vinyls. You better keep your eyes open for that...

It is quite hard to find a place to begin telling what has arrived since last update as we have got so many fine new arrivals at the moment...We have just got a supreme 7" and lp collection covering metal, hardrock, stoner and garage records from the last 15 years. Loads and loads of rare singles and lps from Iron Maiden, Hellacopters, White Stripes, Mastodon, Opeth, Nomads, Strokes, Merciful Fate....

Once again we have got our hands on some very fine industrial/avantgarde records with highligts from Coil, Andrew Liles and some of the first Angels of Light albums .

Last but not least we have just purchased a super interesting collection of elelctronica and techno records litterally stuffed with classics from the likes of Mike Ink, Basic Channel, early Warp etc.etc...and coming up we also have a good bunch of 2000-2011 electronic and indie records...so keep wathing our last in section.

Great news as we have just purchased a quite large collection of mostly 70's and 80's punk, new wave and technopop records in fantastic condition. it contains collections of most of the classic English punk and post punk artists like The Clash, Damned, Sex Pistols, Adverts, PIL and Wire. Furthermore also a huge lot of early, classic and rare synth and technopop artists like Gary Numan, Human League, Kraftwerk, BEF, John Foxx...

Also arriving a the moment is a fine collection of recent drone, impro and noise cds and lps. If you're into artist like Dead C, Smegma, Oren Ambarchi, Keith Rowe and various Sonic Youth collaborations you better watch out .

And Finally ... we are almost drowning in classic rock albums from Pink Floyd, Zappa, Stones, Dylan, Beatles etc....

The summer and festival season is getting closer but that doesn't mean that we are slowing down. For the last couple of months we have been flooded with collections containing loads and loads of pure rock classics. So if you are into the likes of Led Zep, Stones, Beatles, King Crimson and Bob Dylan, this is the time for you...

Just arriving in the shop at the moment is a collection consisting a quite superb collection of rare 90'ies original issues. Rarely seen stuff by The Cure, Dylan, R.E.M., Pearl Jam and...

Just back from our  cherry-picking trip at the recordfair in Utrecht. As usual our store is now packed with loads and loads of superb records. Everything from Young Marble Giants through Serge Gainsbourg to Nina Simone and some quite fine ragga/dancehall records. You have to see our stock at the moment.

Furthermore we have just purchased a collection of 900 incredible hiphop records. The best ever collection we have ever had in our shop ... Of course the usual Danish classics are there, but also huge collections from artists around Wu Tang Clan, loads of old skool classics as well as most of the better part of the rare 90'ies stuff. Be quick as the locals already are filling their bags...

A huge thank you goes out to you people out there who attended our huge January Sale - Very nice to see happy people grabbing loads of cheapos here in our shop. Thank you for clearing out as we need the space for all the new titles arriving in our shop at the moment. Just bought a bunch of really fine avantgarde/electronic/ noise -cds. We are expecting about 200 industrial and synth records to arrive within the next couple of weeks. So loads of rarities by artists like Death In June, Coil and a lot of rare Factory Records titles as well.

Also - as they  have been deleayed - we are going to list a huge and really tasty collection of electronica records in the next coule of weeks. No big collections has landed on our desk for the last month or so...But that doesn't mean that we haven't got any new stuff coming in. Loads of interesting indie and electronic stuff has been traded in. Including about 150 very interesting synth/minimal titles including such diverse things as Clock DVA, Der Plan and Dalek I + a lot of more obscure titles. We have also got a bag full of interesting Danish psych and rock stuff including Alrune Rod, Savage Rose and some Sort Sol.

Latest incoming is some 50 indie grunge titles including rarities from Blind Melon, Rage against the machine and Stone Temple Pilots...

Summertime here means lots of new incoming stuff. We just bought a collection of some really fine indie cds with several really rare Danish releases. So if you missed out on the early singles by Mew or Kashmir when they were issued you don't need to look no further. Also just in a pile of quality vinyl such as rae Martin Hall, Sort Sol etc...

A large thank you goes out to all the people who participated in our huge large January sale ending saturday the 30th. Nice to see people getting some real bargains...

With the ending our sale it is now time to fill up the shop with loads of new titles. So that is what we are going to do. First of all we have gotten our hands into a collection of classic rock records such as Tom Waits, The Doors, Led Zeppelin ... Furthermore we have also got quite a fine bunch of classic synth-stuff like DAF, Boytronic, John Foxx, Klaus Schulze etc. Nice stuff really...Finally we have bought about500 indie/hip hop/electronic cds which we are selling at low prices...Loads of out of print and rarely seen titles...

During the last month we have probably listed the best selection of records ever in the history of Black Light. Loads and loads of collecible stuff has just kept on pouring our way, and at the same time we have found loads of super-titles on the recordfair in Utrecht.

Highlights include about 150 super cool industrial and avantgarde titles with artists like Nurse With Wound, Coil, No Neck Blues Band, Scratch Orchestra etc. Simply an awesome selection.

Further new titles include about 300 post / outrock titles (unplayed!!!) from fantastic labels such as Earworm, Enraptured and Elefant. Artists include Spacemen 3, Füxa, Mouse on Mars and loads of Stereolab of-shots .

Finally we have just got our hands of a hugh pile of Tom Waits records, as well a numerous

90-ies collecatble indie records as Oasis, Ride, Cardigans, Giant Sand....

Phew...loads of records in this week. A bunch of nice hip hop records, some cool electronica  - Morr, Tigerbeat6, OOIOO etc. We also just received 30 Front 242 records - both rare cd-singles as well as some of the classic lps and 12"s . At last but not least we will start listing about 400 very cool breakbeat / electronic / lounge records over the next week or so. If you´re into labels as Ninja Tune, Mo Wax, Pussyfoot, Cup of Tea you wont be disappointed. We will also in the nearest future be receiving a huge punk collection with loads of rare albums and singles from the likes of Crass, Anti-pasti, Discharge etc. - in other words - if you are a punkrocker you will be short of money for christmas presents...

To make space for 400 breakbeat/downtempo records we will receive in the nearest future we have been digging in our vaults to make more space. We have found lots of interestin "reserved but never picked up stuff" which now is making it to the net for the first time. Highlights is some of the rare (and musically super cool) first eps of Gescom, some rare hip hop and indie records, as well as a lot of obscure 80´s italo and electro 12"s. Furthermore we just got our hands on some very nice Saint Etienne CD's... So.. get in touch before the crack of dawn!

We just got our hands on a 150 collection of super metal records - no poodles here, but mostly thrash, death and a few more cross-over and hardcore orientated titles. Lots of colour vinyls and nice picture disc. We have just returned from Southern Germany where we bought the archive of www.blackchannel.org.
We will therefore be listing about 4000 titles on the net in the weeks to come. This is the largest ebm, industrial, gothic collection we have ever seen with loads of rarities and special editions.
